As the Canadiens players prepare for the upcoming season on the ice in Brossard, the team's management is finalizing the last preparations for 2025-2026.

This morning in Brossard, Nick Suzuki, Kirby Dach, Juraj Slafkovsky, Zachary Bolduc, Oliver Kapanen, Joe Veleno, and Alex Newhook all took to the ice.

One might think, given the players' attendance at the team's training complex, that training camp has already begun-but that is clearly not the case.

Here's what Canadiens fans need to know for the coming weeks.

First, rookie camp will open in exactly one week, on September 10. Yes, exactly one week from now.

Meanwhile, the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation Golf Tournament will take place on September 15. No controversies on the horizon this year (looking back at Max Pacioretty memories), and this season, there will be no talk of simply "being in the mix." The goal is the playoffs, and that's clear from both the players and management.

Finally, the main training camp will kick off on September 17-exactly two weeks from today.
