New Canadiens Acquisition Could Complicate David Reinbacher's Future in Montreal
Since he was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens, David Reinbacher has unfortunately been plagued by injuries and has missed many games.
You may not know this, but the Tricolore recently brought in quite the defenseman, and while his name is currently flying under the radar, you might see him enter the picture very soon. He could even complicate Reinbacher's future with the club.
In addition to his NHL players, Hughes is also banking on several talents in the AHL, particularly
Adam Engstrom-a defenseman with many promising qualities who could break into the big club in the coming years.
At 6'3", 194 lbs, Reinbacher has massive potential and will be one to watch in the coming years.
Bryce Pickford Could Quickly Enter the Picture with the Montreal Canadiens
This past June, Kent Hughes made quite the selection by drafting defenseman Bryce Pickford in the 3rd round, 81st overall.
Born in Chauvin, Alberta, the 19-year-old is simply sensational in the WHL. At 17, he played an important role with the Seattle Thunderbirds, who won the regular season but fell to the Quebec Remparts in the Memorial Cup Final.
Two years later, Pickford was the cornerstone of the Medicine Hat Tigers, putting up an impressive 47 points-including 20 goals-in 48 games. He again won the WHL regular season, but his team unfortunately fell to the London Knights in the 2025 Memorial Cup Final.
