Promising Center Officially Signs with Montreal Canadiens Organization Ahead of New Season

Last season was full of emotions for the Montreal Canadiens, the Laval Rocket, and the Trois-Rivières Lions, as all three teams from the organization made it to the playoffs. In 2024-25, the Trois-Rivières Lions had quite a journey, ultimately winning the championship in the playoffs.

At the big club level, the future looks very promising with talented young players such as Lane Hutson, Cole Caufield, Ivan Demidov, Kaiden Guhle, Noah Dobson, Nick Suzuki, Juraj Slafkovsky, Jayden Struble, Arber Xhekaj, Jakub Dobes, and Zachary Bolduc.

In the AHL, the Rocket also boast a strong roster, including Sean Farrell, Joshua Roy, Owen Beck, Filip Mesar, Florian Xhekaj, Adam Engstrom, Jacob Fowler, David Reinbacher, William Trudeau, and Luke Tuch.

Many talented prospects are in juniors. Leading the list are Alexander Zharovsky, Michael Hage, Aatos Koivu, Hayden Paupanekis, Bryce Pickford, Arseny Radkov, L.J. Mooney, Tyler Thorpe, Owen Protz, and Logan Sawyer.

The club has now announced great news, as Tyler Hylland has decided to sign a new contract and will remain with Trois-Rivieres. At 27, the center scored 32 points in 2024-25, including 15 goals.

While there is plenty of talent with the Canadiens and the Rocket, there is also talent with the Trois-Rivieres Lions!

Anthony Beauregard was sensational in 2024-25 with 25 goals and 67 points in 67 games. The former Val d'Or Foreurs player led the offense alongside Xavier Cormier, who scored 60 points and is only 24 years old.

At 26 years old, Jakov Novak is also an important piece of the Lions' offense, as is Logan Nijhoff, who just celebrated his 24th birthday.
