The Canadiens are about to make several important announcements
Today is the last day before the opening of the free agent market.
This also means that it is the final moment for a team to make a qualifying offer to its restricted free agents, to prevent them from becoming completely free by tomorrow noon.
The Montreal Canadiens have several players in this situation in their organization currently and several major announcements are expected to be made soon by the management.
