Challenges Mount for Patrik Laine at Canadiens Practice in Brossard
Bad news for Patrik Laine this morning live from Brossard as he is relegated to the 4th line at practice.
It's no surprise to anyone when I say that Patrik Laine's stint in Montreal has not been perfect so far.
Here's some news that won't help..
During this morning's practice, the Finnish forward was seen on the fourth line, alongside Jake Evans and Josh Anderson, according to information from Anthony Martineau.

A line that already raises many questions about his place in the lineup.
Laine, known for his lightning-quick shot, seems to have lost the confidence of the coaching staff, at least temporarily. I think his lack of effort plays a big part.
Meanwhile, Zachary Bolduc, back on the ice in Brossard according to Renaud Lavoie, has resumed his spot on the third line, alongside Kirby Dach and Brendan Gallagher.

Patrik Laine is still trying to establish himself with the Montreal Canadiens
For Laine, this change could be just a simple test before the opening game, but it also reflects Martin St. Louis' need to send a clear message.
Laine will need to quickly prove that he can contribute consistently, otherwise his season could be long.
I really hope this message will force him to bring more intensity.
