In Montreal, we've been dreaming of Trevor Zegras since the complications this summer between him and the Anaheim Ducks. The star forward is linked to the Canadiens, at least that part is not a dream.
He and Cole Caufield are great friends, but we also know that he is on the trade market. This has been confirmed by David Pagnotta and Frank Seravalli, and The Athletic's journalist Shayna Goldman confirms that the Canadiens are at the top of the list to acquire him.
I would also add that with the Canadiens' prospect pool, along with the five first-round picks in the next three years, Kent Hughes has the means to pay, or at least make a very tempting offer.
