ESPN Predicts Eye-Opening Stats for Canadiens' New Forward Zachary Bolduc
The Montreal Canadiens seem to have landed a promising offensive player in Zachary Bolduc, and the ESPN network appears convinced of it.
A former first-round pick (17th overall) of the St. Louis Blues in 2021, Bolduc showed very encouraging signs during the 2025 season.
In 72 games with the Blues, he scored 19 goals and added 17 assists for a total of 36 points. He particularly stood out with his 12 power-play points and an impressive +20 differential.
A major production boost projected by ESPN for the Montreal Canadiens' new forward, Zachary Bolduc
For Zachary Bolduc, the projections are spectacular: 26 goals, 26 assists, 52 points, a +25 differential, and 166 shots on goal.
A change of environment represents a great opportunity for Bolduc. If his role within the Canadiens' lineup allows him to maintain or even increase his ice time and involvement on the power play, he could quickly establish himself as a key asset for the team.
His power-play role could also slightly decrease according to other experts, but his consistency in effort and complete playing style should compensate.
Although still considered a late-round fantasy draft option, Bolduc could quickly gain value if his integration with the Canadiens goes as planned. Montreal is betting on youth, and Bolduc fits perfectly into this promising rebuilding strategy.
The potential is there. Now it remains to be seen whether he can turn it into concrete production from his very first strides at the Bell Centre.
