Major NHL announcement regarding Cole Caufield of the Canadiens
Although he didn't find the back of the net as regularly as we had hoped, Cole Caufield had a good season, with a career-high 65 points.
What's important for the young man is that he has made significant progress, becoming a much better player. He creates more plays, his one-on-one battles are stronger, and his 200-foot game is more complete.
Major NHL announcement regarding Cole Caufield
While Cole didn't light the lamp as often as we anticipated, he was outstanding in shootouts.
He was actually the best in the entire NHL this season with 5 shootout goals. Even captain Nick Suzuki didn't do better.
We know that Cole also has a habit of scoring crucial goals in overtime. He is breaking records for the most goals in such situations early in his career.
In short, Cole is a clutch player who elevates his game when it matters. I don't know about you, but I can't wait for the Canadiens to return to the playoffs to see the young players in action!
